Rainy Day Blues

What do you do when you have 3 kids and it is rainy and cold outside?

To start our day off we went over to Nana’s and swapped kids. We took Haley and she took Harper. From there; there was only really one place we HAD to go...Wal-Mart. Why? You may ask... NEW MOON! Once the necessities were out of the way, Luke was hungry even though we had just ate breakfast. Hardees here we come, while there Luke decided this was a good idea...

After the sugar high was taken care of we decided we would take them to Bass Pro. They had a blast looking at all the animals, the real alligator was by far the favorite of them all!

Still on the sugar high and having had enough contact with the "wildlife" it was on to Glow Bowling!

I think that they had the most fun here. They all had there own style of bowling which to say the least was amusing. Haley was all about doing it all by herself. She wasn't as concerned about knocking the pins down as she was her dance while the ball rolled down the lane. Justyces' style was all about just rolling the ball as hard and as fast as he could. He wanted his ball to go as fast as a race car. Now Rylee was definitely the pro out of them all. He was all about precision, he had to make sure he was standing just right and he put the on the ramp just right. As soon as he was done he would run back to the ball return and wait for his ball!

All in all it was a good day! However, by the end I was exhausted!

My Midnight Mover

It started a couple of weeks ago...

The nightly routine at our home is pretty much the same every night. Dinner, baths, pajamas, books and lights out at 8pm! After the boys are as snug as a bug in a rug, Luke and I can breathe a sigh of relief! Another day down and so many more to come. With a sense of accomplishment we usually end our night lounging on the couch!

So a couple of weeks ago after watching some TV in the living room, we decided to call it a night! As we are heading to bed, Luke asked why I left the TV on in our bedroom? I told him I didn't... we get to our bedroom and what do we see? Rylee, with his pillow and Justyces' blanket sound a sleep! It was so cute, we laughed and Luke took him back to his own bed.

A couple of hours later when I had woken up to feed Harper, I peeped in the boys room to check on them. What did I see? Justyce in his bed, but Rylee was MIA. At first, I was frightened and kind of in shock. I quickly began searching the house.

When I came to the living room this is what I found...

He looked so sweet and innocent I left him there. I then went back into the boys room to give Justyce some more blankets, since Rylee had stolen his while he was sleeping. However, after stealing Justyces' blanket for himself, Rylee did give Justyce his before he made his way to the couch!

And from that night on this has been Rylees' routine about 5 to 6 times a week!

Hes our little midnight mover!

Harper is Here Hooray!

Harper Stanley Flageolle made his enterance into this world on January 30th 2010 at 2:57 am! He weighed 6 lbs 15 oz and was 20.25 inches long. He was and is just absolutely perfect ( I may be a little bias)!I cannot forget to metion that the nght he was born, the weather conditions outside were anything but ideal...it was the worst snow storm we have had this year! Leave it to me and persistince to be induced... (which I later regretted)! This pregnancy and labor was by far the hardest for me, confirming it would be my last!

Luke and I are so blessed with the family that we have, Harper has made our family complete! I was hoping for a little girl so I would have someone on my side, but I would not change now if I could! So I want to say thank you to all my friends and family for putting up with me throughout all my pregnancies! I know that I was moody and difficult at times. If you ask Luke I was moody and difficult the whole time! He was such a trooper....

Harper is now five weeks old and doing great! He is a little guy but getting bigger everyday! He is a pretty good sleeper he usually wakes up once during the night! However, when it is daddy's night to get up with him, he seems to always sleep through the night for hi
m. Justyce and Rylee have adjusted well and love baby Harper! The are great helpers as well, just wish I could get them to change diapers. lol!
