Kindergarten

Justyce started Kindergarten this last Thursday, and loves it!! He is in Mrs. Youngblood's class at Sherwood Elementary. Home of the Superstars. I have joined the PTA and I volunteer in his classroom! I want to be involved as possible... they grow so fast! Before I know it he will be going off to college!

He had a great first week and made a lot of new friends (mostly girls). It was definitely harder on me than it was on him! I did not want to leave him that first day and he couldn't get rid of me fast enough! He is such a big boy now, wanting to do EVERYTHING himself.

I know that Rylee and Harper will miss him during the day, but I am thankful that I will have more quality time with each of them! To celebrate the milestone we had to go for ice cream after school! Praying for a great school year!!!

Having three children I try to make sure each child gets quality one on one time. For  Rylees' time we made magic bars (one of my all time favorites)! He had so much fun and helped every step of the way!

Happiness

Although the boys and I have experienced some very big changes in our lives recently, we have managed to find happiness. Its amazing... I never realized how unhealthy and unhappy I was until this new found happiness!! I now live in the moment and try to make each day the best I can! Although the journey has been painful and difficult, I do not regret it. I have three amazing boys, who make my life worthwhile. I also have an amazing support system, of family and friends. God has truly blessed me and I am going to make the best out of it, I am so thankful! Life is good...

Sweet Summertime....

Yay! School is over for me, so we can finally begin to enjoy our summer. The boys are both playing t-ball and seem to enjoy it for the most part. Other than that we don't have many plans for the summer. Simplifying our lives and going back to work for me are the main two things we hope to accomplish.

A Sneak Peak...

Yesterday was Justyces' sneak peak for Kindergarten. We toured the school, the classrooms and even met the teachers. He seems to be really excited about ggoing in August. However, we had a situation on the way to school which resulted in us rushing home to make Justyce presentable... there is NEVER a boring day with my boys...

Family Yard Work!

Since it has been raining a majority of the the past two weeks, we decided to tackle some yard work as a family! We were up and at it at 7:30 AM! (As soon as we finished around 10:30 AM, it started raining!) While at work the boys managed to find this...

I am NOT  a snake fan at all, regardless if it was just a "harmless" Gardner snake or not! After their discovery I was ready to go back inside!!
