Goodbye 2010

Goodbye 2010, you were a year I will never forget. You brought happiness and joy, but you also brought pain and sorrow. Luke and I welcomed our third and yes, final addition to our family, Harper. Harper is such a blessing , I cannot imagine life without him. Justyce and Rylee have both grown and developed their own unique personalities. I could not love them any more for what they have brought into my life and taught me. Those three little boys have given me so much, my only hope is that I can give them half of what they have given me.

Luke & I have experienced many changes as well. We began the year in a new home, which we love. I became a SAHM again, after the birth of Harper. Luke had the opportunity to get out of the roofing industry. Which is comforting, after having him fall off the roof twice. That is a road I would rather not travel down again. We were able to visit NYC which was amazing. I also have began running again, which I have not done since cross country in high school! I wouldn’t say that I love running , but it has provided me an outlet that I can’t explain. There is something so liberating about it.

So, here we are now in the beginning of a new year with hopes of a great future. All I can say is I am going to make this year better than the last. Isn’t that all anyone can really hope for? Sure there are going to be trials and tribulations in the new year, I would be an idiot not to expect that, right? Bad things happen so we appreciate the good... So here is my promise to myself and anyone who reads this, 2011 is going to be better than 2010! Not ,because I expect it to be but because, I choose to make it better!
