Dear Weather....

PLEASE stop messing with us. This hot then cold game you are playing is getting old real quick. Please bring Mr. Sunshine over this way and let him stay a while!
Sincerely your friend,
Amy

Welcome March... a little family update...

The month of February flew by for my family and I. We are so busy these days it is hard to keep track of the days. I am hoping we slow down a little in March so we can breathe... Lol.

I have been really busy with school. I got an A on my first math test, which was the best news EVER! I really like the teacher so I am hoping that makes the class easier and less painful! As far as English goes, I just submitted my first essay today. I put a lot of thought and effort into it so, hopefully my grade will reflect that.

The boys are busy as ever, always into stuff or as Justyce says "off to a new adventure." The weather has been a little nicer so they have been able to get out doors, that helps immensely.

Luke has been busy at his new job and loves it. His birthday is on the 13th of this month, the big 28, man he is getting old...lol. Hopefully we can plan something special to celebrate the occasion!

Farm Park Fun

Saturday we took the boys to the farm park. Although it was not as warm as we first thought... we still managed to have fun! Oh and I cannot forget get to mention we ended the day with Orange Leaf... Yum!

L-O-V-E

Let me just start by saying that I despise Valentine's day! I find it a ridiculous , a complete waste of time and money. However, I semi-celebrate it for the boys!

Old Man...Winter

This could be deadly...
A few weekends ago was great Saturday was in the upper 60's maybe even low 70's. Sunshine and blue skies, absolutely beautiful and a nice change from the dreary winter months we have had. That is until that following Monday night, in to early Tuesday. The Springfield area was predicted to get up to 15 inches of snow on Tuesday (an inch an hour). And before the snow there was the freezing rain.... Oh happy day! The news was saying that this was going to be the worst winter storm to hit Springfield since 1911.

Snow is beautiful in theory and even nice for a couple of days. With that being said however,  after more than 48 hours it becomes very inconvenient. School was cancelled all week and the boys were cooped up in the house due to the frigid temperatures. Which for any of you that have kids, being stuck indoors and deprived of sunshine makes not only the kids nuts, but mommy goes a little crazy!
Opening my front door...

I am so excited to see the grass and pavement again. Snow has been hiding everything for almost two weeks now. Seeing the sunshine melt the snow away is going make this girl very, very happy.Bring on the "heat wave" this weekend, temperatures in the 50's! Can I get an Amen?
